About DataMax
The Revenue Indentification and Recovery Specialists
DataMax has an extensive history dating back to 1889. During that time, we operated as the Winston-Salem Retail Merchants Association and officially incorporated in 1909, with a principal office in Winston, North Carolina. Over a century flew by and in December 1992, we changed our name to become DataMax Corporation. In January 2019, two remarkable people, who were current employees, bought the company and changed the legal name to CBHBC Corp, LLC (d.b.a. DataMax Corporation), each letter of CBHBC representing the first initial of all of their children's names. The new owners' vision was, and is, to build an organization and create a work environment based on our purpose and core values.
Although our name and image have evolved over time, DataMax has always maintained the same high-quality, service-oriented support to our clients while collecting on consumer and business debts in an ethical and empathetic manner. There is no compromise for superior customer service and a positive company culture where employees and clients thrive!
